PAC NYC, situated at the World Trade Center, opened in 2023 as a cultural hub dedicated to community engagement and diverse perspectives. This year’s commissions include works such as “America’s Kingdoms” by Javaad Alipoor, “The Puerto Rico Experiment” by Angélica Negrón, and “Sovereignty Hymns” by The Bengsons, each bringing unique insights into democracy and social justice.

Boston College recently welcomed Bill Rauch, the Inaugural Artistic Director of PAC NYC, who spoke on “Adaptation: A Lifetime of Building Bridges.” Co-sponsored by the Clough Center, Rauch’s talk reflected his mission to unite communities through artistic expression, echoing PAC NYC’s vision of art as a democratic force. The Clough Center proudly supports initiatives like these that promote meaningful discourse through the arts.
