The Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy has officially commenced the Fall semester by convening a vibrant community of scholars, Fellows, and Faculty Affiliates in an opening reception event that took place August 29 on Connolly House Lawn. Among the cornerstone initiatives that the Clough Center is enthusiastically committed to hosting is a series of talks designed to foster deep and meaningful conversations on various aspects of democracy.
In alignment with the theme of this academic year, Envisioning Democratic Futures, the Clough Center is also introducing another series of discussions featuring distinguished speakers. These talks aim to engage the Boston College community and stimulate conversations that are particularly pertinent as the nation approaches the upcoming presidential election in November. The discussions are intended to explore both the opportunities and challenges facing the future of democracy, with each session focusing on a specific topic led by a panel of eminent faculty from Boston College and beyond.
These events are open to the public, and all members of the Boston College community are encouraged to participate. Those interested in attending are invited to register to attend: Registration Link
