This academic year, the Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy will host two key programs: our Doctoral Seminar and our Graduate Research Workshop. Through these programs, led by Center Director Jonathan Laurence, Senior Research Fellow Chandra Mallampalli, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow Isaiah Sterrett, Fellows will engage in discussions centered around the theme of Envisioning Democratic Futures. Participants will explore a diverse range of topics, drawing from multiple disciplines and perspectives. The discussions will focus on critical questions regarding the future of democracy, the theoretical foundations that support democratic systems, and the contemporary challenges facing democratic governance.
